Welcome to the web site of the Louise Lamar Dance Studio, the Reading, PA area's top
studio for social and ballroom dancing, located just fifteen minutes Northwest of the Reading Airport,
close to
the Tulpehocken High School.

We offer - Niteclub (slow) Dancing,
- Swing (aka Jitterbug),
- Freestyle (fast) Dancing,
- Latin
(ChaCha, Mambo, Rumba, Salsa, Bolero, etc.),
- Smooth (Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep, etc.),
- Social (American style,
for casual dancing), and
- Competitive Ballroom Dancing
(International or American style).

Ballroom Dancing Programs
We have ballroom dance programs for all levels of dancers and special occasions,
whether you want to swing it up at your local nightspot or waltz the night away.

Introductory Special* - Three private lessons, to get acquainted with the world of social dancing - $75 per couple;

Wedding Dance Special* - Three private lessons to learn a choreographed routine - $99 per couple
OR take five lessons for even more practice on a choreographed routine - $125 per couple;

Group lesson - Every Friday night join us for a one hour group lesson followed by
two hours of open dancing, to practice all the new dances you've learned.
Ten dollars ($12 for monthly parties) per person covers the lesson and practice time.

** Private lessons are 55 minutes long unless otherwise arranged
